Prenolone Moisturizing Cream possesses hormone-balancing properties.
Pregnenolone is a natural hormone made from cholesterol in our adrenal glands. Hormones are chemical messengers that tell our organs and cells what to do. This "grandmother" hormone is the biological precursor to DHEA also known as the hormone balancer. It has the special ability to increase the levels of steroid hormones which are deficient or reduce and levels of excess circulating hormones. Pregnenolone is synthesized inside the mitochondria was found to be the basic precursor for the production of ALL the human steroid hormones, including DHEA, Progesterone, Estrogen, Testosterone, Cortisone, Cortisol and Aldosterone. Protection from high cortisol/cortisone: Cortisol levels increase with normal aging causing immune impairment, arteriosclerosis, and neuronal injury. Pregnenolone protects against adrenal atrophy when withdrawing cortisone therapy. Pregnenolone helps protect against the effects of elevated cortisol including atrophy of the skin and allergies. Pregnenolone and Multiple Sclerosis: Administration of either pregnenolone in mice also promoted myelin (membrane that surrounds our brain and nervous system) formation and repair during nerve regeneration. The degeneration of the myelin sheath is the main problem in multiple sclerosis. Brain and memory Function: Our neurological function is precisely controlled by hormones that synchronize organ and cell function. Some of the most exciting effects of Pregnenolone is its amazing memory-enhancing effects. Pregnenolone has been found to play an vital role in the acquisition of knowledge and the long term memory. Several studies have shown that Pregnenolone boosted memory and learning ability in subjects. This neuro-steroid improves the transmission of nerve impulses and facilitates communication between brain cells. Stress and Fatigue: Many studies have indicated that a daily dose of 50 mg of pregnenolone reduced fatigue and stress.
